The Ministry of Works and Housing has made a significant move towards completing the Saglemi Housing Project by receiving five bids for its redevelopment.
This project, which has faced delays, is crucial for providing much-needed housing in Ghana.
The companies that submitted bids are:
• Afro Arab Properties Ltd
• Quarm-LMI Consortium
• Dredge Masters-Titanium
• Broll Ghana Ltd
• Masiltin Group
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Minister of State, announced this update on his X page, emphasizing the commitment to transparency and fairness. The Public Procurement Authority will help select an independent evaluation entity to ensure a fair process.
“The chosen developer will be responsible for completing 1,506 housing units and the essential infrastructure needed for the project. This effort is crucial in addressing Ghana’s 1.8 million housing unit deficit”, he stated.
