Kasoa Kumbe, Ghana – In a tragic incident that has left the local community in shock, a newborn baby has died after being abandoned and accidentally set on fire on a refuse dump behind a school.
The baby, wrapped in a polythene bag, was allegedly left behind by an unidentified woman. A neighbor, believing the bag to be ordinary trash, added it to the refuse pile and set it ablaze. It was only when the neighbor returned to add more garbage that they discovered the burning bag contained a baby, now exposed and fatally burned.
The Kasoa Kumbe community is devastated by this horrific event. “It’s unimaginable that someone could leave a baby like that,” said a distressed resident. “We must find out who did this and make sure it never happens again.”
Local authorities and the police have launched a thorough investigation to identify the woman who abandoned the baby and to understand the circumstances leading up to this tragic event. They are urging anyone with information to come out and assist in bringing justice for the innocent life lost.
